Susan Boyle hospitalized

Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle has been taken ill with stomach cramps that landed her in hospital.

The singing sensation took ill with severe cramps in the early hours of the morning at her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland.

But a source close to her management company said the problem was not serious saying she was "absolutely fine".

Boyle, 48, had tests and left the hospital after two hours while her management worked to allay fears among fans that she had swine flu.

Stars banned from using Twitter by film studios

Studios want to stop actors from leaking film information on social network sites, and are inserting clauses in their contracts forbidding them.

Stars affected include Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers, who are due to make a Shrek follow-up next year for studio Dreamworks.

The move comes after American Idol judge Paula Abdul dramatically resigned this year on Twitter - while Transformers star Megan Fox was branded "dumb as a rock" in a cyberspace row.

Judge warns Lindsay Lohan she faces prison

Lindsay Lohan faces jail unless she attends compulsory alcohol rehabilitation, a US judge has warned.

The 23-year-old was back in court on Friday after it was alleged she had failed to attend alcohol treatment as part of a previous conviction.

The Mean Girls actress was placed under probation after pleading guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving

The convictions in 2007 led to Lohan being ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program, spend 24 hours in jail plus ten days of community service.

However, she was back in front of the court yesterday with the judge being informed due to her heavy work load she had been unable to attend the treatment sessions.

The probation period was then extended for another year but Judge Marsha Revel warned she could be sent to prison if she did not properly attend the sessions.

"This is the last time we are going to be talking about re-enrolling and doing what you need to do," she told the actress.

"This has to be a top priority. I would love to congratulate you rather than admonish you."

The court heard how Lohan had completed 15 of the 26 required alcohol sessions, 13 of the 28 self-help sessions, six education classes and half of the required group classes.

Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told the judge her absences had down to miscommunication between the actress and those in charge of the programmes and requested the probation period to be extended.

Judge Revel told Lohan she needed to get court approval for any future leaves of absence of more than 21 days.

"If you don't do that, the deputy district attorney will be asking for jail time," she said.
